In his new role as Head of Trading at One Carbon, Klaus Rothhaar brings over 20 years of hands-on experience within European energy markets.

Previously Klaus worked for several large players within the energy trading industry, mainly focused on power, emissions and cross-commodity trading. As an experienced trading professional, Klaus has extensive knowledge in the areas of hedging and risk-management.

Driven by his interest in carbon offset markets, carbon trading systems, and the way to net-zero, Klaus takes pride in providing the best support for market developments to reach the highest level of integrity, transparency, and the efficiency that is needed to secure the next level of climate action.
